Well, about nineteen librarians turned up. Interesting to see the range of library types that are intrigued by the possiblities ... some already blogging, some almost timidly wanting to explore.
But I think the overall impression I got was of curiosity about these 'new technologies' and how they can make a difference in sharing information.

The other thing that struck me is that where conference blogging seems to be a more slapdash organic thing elsewhere, Constance and Kathryn are doing something that I can't help (from my ex-Pom point of view) but feel is a very Australian thing. Take a good idea and make sure it's done properly, and organised so that it can be found later. That could also be just a librarianly thing too, though ... the proper organising of information.

I think I am looking forward to this conference!
