Google loses copyright case

A Belgian court has ruled that Google may not reproduce extracts from a variety of Belgian newspapers, imperiling one of the web search leader's most popular services if other courts follow suit.

I'm not sure how this will affect what I do at work. Would taking feed from various newspapers individually be different to what Google does? Is making others aware of particular stories somehow deliterious to the originating paper?



This is something that I'm going to have to find out more about ... could be worrying.
