So, we are better safe than sorry?

Why am I not overly impressed with that, no matter the fact that there are times when I have appreciated that very safety, as an individual and as a nation, being safe can also lead to loss of a certain humanity. Have we come to that? Fear of change leading to fear of other?

I do hope not ...
