Mentioned in dispatches

One of my all time useful links is Mary Ellen Bates. She has written many books and articles about librarianship and information provision, and was recently in Australia with Gary Price of Resource Shelf fame. Well, Ms Bates has a new venture called Web Search Pacific promoting the art and science of web searching.

But what has me all excited (an bouncing in my seat making excited noises) is that she picked out the comment about this blog being about working in a library in an email newsletter that arrived in my inbox this morning.

Not that you didn't have to go looking for it on the link ... but still! Gives me a warm glow all over *laughs at self*
Now I shall have to start living up to my own advertising, but I feel quite flattered all the same!
