Grozny Library Offers Respite From War
Yet another librarian to go into my "Hall of Heroism". For creating a space where the posiblity of peace and order might exist.
Makes one realise how hard it has been in the last 150 years for the quietude and relative peace so many of us have come to accept as "normal", was to nurture in the first place. And just how easy it is to destroy that peace.
