Creative Classification

(or being a sucker for a pop-quiz)
I admit it, I'm a sucker for a good pop-quiz, and this #blogjune collection is starting to provide a degree of amusement and strange "morning thoughts" with regards to the answers thus generated. And having read, generated, cogitated and composed my thought/blog for the day, I'm off to cook a Sunday Roast for a change. I may even attempt Yorkshire Pudding!

Find your Dewey Decimal Section at Spacefem.com	Having led a very sheltered life (by comparison to some), I sometimes wonder if my need to read books is in no small way trying to understand how others have arrived at the conclusions they hold. And despite my desire to be 'unconventional' I find myself drawn back to the conventional repeatedly. Or is that an appreciation of what the conventional offers as a starting point to build from?

But does it imply merely in the making of 'stuff' or the making of society / community. G'Kar (Babylon5) observed that "Humans are about making community." I think that is a True Statement, and one of the things that being a "librarian" means to me is that I'm helping create a better community. (Or I would like to think I am!)

What it says about you: You are very informative and up to date. You're working on living in the here and now, not the past. You go through a lot of changes. I find myself struggling at times with all the lovely ideas that being online allows me to see. I am frustrated at the moment because I am not able to put some of them into practice. But I must admit, having the time to catch up on all the longer articles and reports I've bookmarked in the last couple of years is nice. I don't know if that makes me up-to-date, but it does mean that I have lots to think about.
