Mother's Day
My evil offspring got me a "watch owl" that runs on batteries.
It hoots and turns its head when somebody passes its sensors, and was sitting on the corner of my desk at work 'guarding' the lolly jar, while the passage way outside my office looked like the pavement outside the Ministry for Silly Walks as everybody tried to sneak past without being hooted at.
I haven't laughed so much in ages!

I moved it to the top of the shelves when I needed the space a little while ago, now everybody is first sneaking past the room and then sticking their heads around the door asking "Where's the owl gone?"
This is providing a second days worth of giggles.

I seem to have raised my offspring to have a suitably warped sense of humour; I think I will keep them a while longer.
*hoots gently in delight*
