Sci-fi and fantasy author Norton dies - Mar 17, 2005
I didn't know she was a woman until many years after I first enjoyed the novels she wrote.
For many reasons she is a reason that I still harbour delusions of writing a novel one day ... but I didn't know she was a fellow librarian.

So much pleasure. So many good examples in all her characters. So many books - The best tribute would be to follow the example of so many of her characters, and sieze life with both hands and face it courageously.
I'm going to miss her new stories, though.
